We assessed the effects of coenzyme Q10 on patients suffering from ischemic heart disease, specifically those experiencing stable class II-III angina. In our study, we added coenzyme Q10 at a dosage of 60 mg per day for eight weeks to the standard treatment regimen these patients were already following.
The results showed that this addition significantly improved the clinical status of the patients. Importantly, we did not observe any clinically significant side effects associated with the use of coenzyme Q10. This suggests that it could be a beneficial adjunct therapy for individuals dealing with chest pain related to cardiac issues, enhancing their treatment experience without additional risk.
